...I just couldnt eat somthing so...

… I just couldn't eat something so...
On saturday the 20th of may I played my third tackle rugby game. I woke up at 8:30am then had a bowl of muesli for breakfast. But there must of been something wrong with it because it tasted like collapsed crocodile and rotten cranberries. After I had a drink of strawberry milk that also tasted bad. Then I had a piece of apple chewing gum that tasted like orange peelings with honey in it. Within 12 minutes I started to feel queasy and dizzy. After I finished with the quesyness and dizziness I then started feeling like I had a wide stomach. That finally passed so I could carry on to rugby when I arrived my team and I had to go into the changing rooms to have a talk then we went out onto the field. After the game we found out the final score and it was 65 - 7 to them so we lost which was sad.

Archie baxter and Silas the strecher bearer

Archibald baxter & silas the stretcher bearer

Silas                                                                         Archie

Silas was a conscientious
Objector.

Silas was drafted into the army in 1917 when he was 23 years old but he refused because he was a conscientious objector.

He was used as a stretcher bearer.

Silas got hit by shrapmill in the middle of no-man's land.

Silas was known as a coward before his stretcher bearer days.

Silas was sent back to either england or new zealand on an ambulance ship to recover after he was wounded by the explosion.

He lived on a big farm
with his parents

They were both conscientious objectors because they believed in religions.

They were both new zealanders.

Only silas went to war and archie didn't.

They both lived on a big farm.

Archie was born in 1881 at saddle hill near dunedin on the 13th of december.

He was head ploughman at gladbrook station in 1902.

When archie was thirty five years old in 1916 he was called for military service.

Archie went to a military camp in trentham near wellington.

Archie was also known as a coward.

Many years before the war of 1914 - 18 I had reached the point of view that war - all war - was wrong, futile and destructive alike to victor and vanquished.
- Archibald baxter, from we will not cease.

Archie was a boxer.
He also left school at the age of twelve.

Disadvantages for young men.
Some of the disadvantages were that many young men could lose their lives or get injured at a very young age such as 12 - 24 year olds.

Another type is that men could be put into the slammer.

Ww1 heroes
One of the ways soldiers can become a hero is by saving other soldiers that have been wounded in the space of no-mans-land

Another way to become a hero is being a stretcher bearer

Soldier sadness
One nasty & bloody fighting day in the trench. Along time ago, it was mayhem. They were defending their country`s trench. They had no food because the kitchen man had been shot dead by the german gun fire. For the past 7 hours the swiss had been fighting the germans, so far the germans had been winning side but suddenly the swiss came back at them with cannon fire GeT  DOWN shouted the german leader there's a bomb. When the bomb hit the ground there was a crackling sound, then a massive BANG it all turned bad for the germans. Over 350 men died that`s including the leader now the germans only have 153 men left while the swiss still have over 800 men left. So the only thing that the germans could do was surrender with the white flag and hope nothing goes wrong from this point, but if anything did happen both sides were ready to fire.

All alone

In my writing I`m trying to use more punctuation and better language so I can improve in my writing
All alone

One day I was voted to be printed on a billboard on the road to nowhere. It was quite lonely on the 10 by 6 billboard. For the past few years I’ve been very sad since the day I got glued to the rusty, mouldy billboard.

There's been only 4 cars on the road to nowhere for the past few years because no one likes leaving town. The reason that most people don't leave town is because they don’t get all the fancy shops in other places and they can't take their fancy  rich pets into the shops in other places. Finally on the fourth year I managed to get off this billboard.

At first I thought I was staying on a different billboard.  But then I found out that I was going to the hillsdale mall. Finally I was in a warm building. But instead of hanging off a wire I got stuck on the floor with muddy, grassy, wet shoes rubbed all over my face and body.
But 6.5 weeks later I finally got pulled off the floor and hung on a window frame for the rest of my life.. To live happily ever after
